The European Union Ambassador to Ukraine, Katarina Maternova, held a meeting with Taras Kachka, who recently took office as the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.

Katarina Maternova, welcoming Taras Kachka to his new position, noted his significant experience in matters of Euro-integration, especially in the field of trade and the implementation of the Association Agreement. She emphasized her interest in further cooperation with the Ukrainian government in the upcoming stages of the integration process.
Personnel Changes in the Field of Euro-Integration
Taras Kachka was appointed Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration on July 17, as part of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine’s reshuffle. Previously, he served as the Deputy Minister of Economy and acted as Ukraine’s Trade Representative. In his new role, Kachka succeeded Olha Stefanishyna, who held this position since June 4, 2020, and significantly influenced Ukraine’s progress towards European integration.
