In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained an employee of the Central Office of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), who was part of the elite unit “D-2” and was passing secret data about Ukrainian security forces and civilians to the Russian FSB. It has been established that the enemy used the collected information to organize terrorist acts and conduct information operations against Ukraine.

Investigation and Exposure of the Spy

The investigation has established that the agent’s activities were coordinated by traitor Dmytro Ivantsov, who was once the deputy head of security for Viktor Yanukovych. In February 2014, Ivantsov helped the former president flee to Russia, while he remained in Crimea, where he joined the occupying forces and was recruited by the FSB.

The Security Service documented at least 60 episodes of information transfer with restricted access from the suspect to the former deputy head of Yanukovych’s security.

The perpetrator used closed databases of Ukrainian law enforcement to collect personal data on potential victims. For each completed task, the agent received a monetary reward, which his curator transferred to him via a bank card.

Details of the Detention and Further Actions

After thoroughly documenting the criminal activities, SBU officers and the Office of the Prosecutor General detained the suspect. During the search, they seized a phone and computer equipment that were used to communicate with the curator. The man has already been informed of the suspicion of treason.

Additionally, as part of a special operation to counter Russian influence on NABU, one of the detective leaders, Ruslan Magamedrasulov, was detained. Investigators believe he acted as an intermediary in the illegal sale of technical hemp to Dagestan (RF), organized by his father, entrepreneur Sentyabr Magamedrasulov. Thus, the official facilitated his father’s illegal trade with Russia.
