Enemy Intensifies Attacks on the Front: 223 Combat Encounters in One Day

Over the past day, 223 combat encounters have been recorded on the front, indicating a significant escalation of the situation in key areas of combat operations.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Defense Forces units repelled three attacks by Russian Federation units. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian troops thwarted sixteen attempts by the enemy to break through the defense near Vovchansk, Prylipky, Dvorichne, as well as in the areas of Izbytske, Vilcha, and Obukhivka.

The Kupiansk direction faced six attacks from the occupiers, which were successfully repelled. In the Lyman direction, the enemy made 19 attempts to advance towards Druzhliubivka, Stavky, Novoserhiivka, Korovyi Yar, Stepove, Olhivka, Lyman, Drobysheve, and near Zarichne.

Ukrainian defenders in the Sloviansk direction repelled five enemy assaults near Yampil and Siversk. In the Kramatorsk direction, defenders stopped enemy attacks three times.

Enemy Losses and Destroyed Equipment

The highest number of combat encounters, specifically 57, occurred in the Pokrovsk direction. In the Kostiantynivka direction, 27 enemy attacks were recorded, while in the Oleksandrivka direction, Defense Forces halted 17 attempts to breach defensive lines.

In the Huliaipole direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions in the Huliaipole area 11 times. Our military in the Orikhiv direction repelled 8 attacks, and in the Dnipro direction, the enemy made two attempts to advance, which also proved unsuccessful.

“Overall, over the past day, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 1,120 personnel. Ukrainian warriors also neutralized three tanks, two armored combat vehicles, 10 artillery systems, 109 operational-tactical level drones, and 64 units of automotive equipment of the Russian occupiers.”

Thus, the Ukrainian Defense Forces not only hold back the enemy’s advance but also inflict significant losses on Russian occupiers in both personnel and equipment.
