Nearly 200 Artistic Works from Across Ukraine

The exhibition features around 200 works by Ukrainian artists from various cities in the country: Kharkiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Ternopil, Kremenchuk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Cherkasy, Kropyvnytskyi, Kryvyi Rih, and other locations. The works cover a wide range of themes and styles but are united by a single idea — reflecting childhood as a symbol of life and hope even in challenging times of trials.

An Artistic Project with Deep Meaning

“This is a significant artistic project that combines memory, tradition, and contemporary sensitivity,” noted Konstantin Cherniavskyi, head of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, during the opening. He believes it is important for artists to create relevant works about Ukrainian children who have had to be born and live during these years of wartime hardship.

The organizers emphasize that the exhibition continues the Ukrainian tradition, where the image of a child has always been a central symbol — embodying the greatest treasure of society and hope for the future. This sacred image is inextricably linked to the theme of motherhood, heritage, and the archetype of the ‘tree of life,’ which has ancient Slavic roots.

The exhibition will run until December 7, and entry is free.
