Weather Forecast: Frost, Snow, and Icy Conditions
According to forecasters, the region will maintain a winter weather pattern. Light snow is expected in some areas, with blizzards and icy conditions anticipated on the roads. Meteorologists urge residents to exercise caution while traveling by car and on foot.
“In Kyiv and the region – overcast with clearings. Light snow (during the day – in places). Icy conditions on the roads. Wind – west, 7-12 m/s,” forecasters warned.
Temperature and Impact of Weather Conditions
The air temperature in the region will fluctuate between -1 and -6 degrees Celsius at night. During the day, forecasters predict temperatures ranging from -4 degrees to +1 degree Celsius. In Kyiv, nighttime temperatures may drop to -4 to -6°, while daytime temperatures are expected to be between -1 and -3°.
Meteorologists caution that such weather conditions may pose challenges for the operation of energy, construction, and utility services, as well as complicate transportation.
As of the morning, the temperature in the capital was recorded at -3° with a relative humidity of 83% and atmospheric pressure of 733 mm Hg.
