Enemy Losses and the Scale of Hostilities
In the past day, Ukrainian military forces recorded over 190 combat encounters, with the highest intensity observed in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Toretsk directions. During fierce battles, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated approximately 1,020 occupiers, destroyed three tanks, six armored fighting vehicles, 29 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense asset, as well as 338 operational-tactical level drones. Additionally, 81 units of automotive and special equipment and fuel tankers were neutralized.
“The enemy launched two missile strikes and 66 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, used three missiles and 143 guided bombs. Furthermore, they carried out 4,523 shellings, including 98 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 5,301 kamikaze drones,” the General Staff reported.
Analysis of the Situation in Different Front Directions
- In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy attacks.
- The Southern Slobozhansky direction experienced 19 combat encounters.
- In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers conducted 11 attacks, which were repelled by Ukrainian forces.
- In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to break through five times.
- In the Siversky direction, the aggressor attempted to advance 20 times, but without success.
- The Kramatorsk direction saw two unsuccessful attacks by the enemy.
- In the Toretsk direction, 23 enemy attacks were recorded and successfully repelled.
- Near 16 populated areas in the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders halted 59 enemy assaults.
- In the Novopavlivka direction, 22 attacks by the occupiers were repelled.
- In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy attempted to seize positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eight times, but to no avail.
- In the Orikhiv direction, four attempts of enemy attacks were recorded.
- In the Dnipro direction, the aggressor made an unsuccessful attempt to break through the defense.
Overall, the intensity of hostilities indicates that Russian troops continue to actively attempt to change the situation in their favor; however, the Ukrainian military maintains defense and inflicts significant losses on the enemy.
