Accident and Aggressive Behavior at Solomianska Square
The incident occurred in the Solomianskyi district of the capital. A local resident called the emergency line “102” to report a fight and gunfire. Patrol crews and an investigative team quickly arrived at the scene.
Law enforcement officials established that a 37-year-old driver of a Porsche Cayenne collided with a VAZ vehicle and several other cars at Solomianska Square. After the accident, the man began to behave aggressively, engaging in an argument and a quarrel with witnesses and participants of the accident.
Injured Parties and Police Actions
The offender punched a 26-year-old female passenger of the VAZ vehicle in the head. When the VAZ driver attempted to stop the assailant, he pulled out a traumatic pistol and fired two shots in his direction. A 22-year-old man with a non-penetrating gunshot wound was hospitalized by paramedics and received necessary treatment.

It was revealed that the detained individual is a Kyiv resident with obvious signs of alcohol intoxication, and he refused to undergo testing. The man was arrested, his weapon was confiscated, and investigators have already informed him of the suspicion of committing an offense.
