In the Solomianskyi district, police officers successfully returned a child to their parents after the child was found wandering the streets unsupervised.

According to the press service of the capital’s patrol police, a concerned citizen called the emergency line 112 to report a found child. The police quickly arrived at the scene, identified the child’s mother, and located the child’s home address, after which they returned the boy home.
The mother reported that the child had gone missing during a walk. She had tried to find her son on her own but was unsuccessful. After the child was returned, the officers held a preventive conversation with the woman and informed the juvenile prevention officers.
“Dear parents, constantly remind your children about safe behavior on the streets. Write a note for your child that includes important information, such as: name and surname; home address; parents’ phone number. Place the note in their personal belongings or outerwear. This will help identify relatives if the child gets lost,” urged the patrol police.
