НАБУ і САП заявили про незаконне збагачення депутата Ради. «Схеми» назвали прізвище

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, together with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, has announced charges of illegal enrichment against a member of the Verkhovna Rada. According to the investigation materials, between 2020 and 2021, the parliament member became the owner of assets worth approximately 13 million hryvnias, significantly exceeding his official income.

Details of the Investigation into Illegal Enrichment

Investigators note that these funds were used by the parliament member to purchase real estate, including a cottage and a plot of land on the Black Sea coast in the village of Koblevo, as well as a spacious apartment in the center of Kyiv with an area of over 130 square meters.

According to the project “Schemes,” which cites its own sources in law enforcement, the individual in question is Oleksandr Kachnyi — a member of parliament elected from the banned political force OPZZH, who currently belongs to the parliamentary group “Platform for Life and Peace” and is a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget Issues.

“According to sources from ‘Schemes’ in law enforcement, this concerns Oleksandr Kachnyi. He is a member of parliament elected from the now-banned party OPZZH and is currently a member of the parliamentary group ‘Platform for Life and Peace.’ He is also listed on the Rada website as a member of the Budget Committee. The parliament member has not yet publicly commented on this,” the report from Radio Liberty’s project ‘Schemes’ states.

Activities and Position of the Suspected Parliament Member

Journalists from ‘Schemes’ sent a request to Oleksandr Kachnyi asking for a comment on the situation, but he is currently refraining from public statements.

According to the public movement ‘Chesno,’ prior to the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, Oleksandr Kachnyi accused European countries and the USA of escalating the situation regarding the war. Additionally, in July 2025, he supported draft law No. 12414, which proposes subordinating the activities of NABU and SAP to the Attorney General.
