The Russian Federation is transferring intelligence information to Iran, which is used to strike American troops in the Middle East. According to sources familiar with the intelligence data, Moscow is providing Tehran with information regarding the locations of U.S. military facilities, including military ships and aircraft.

Deepening Cooperation Between Russia and Iran
According to information from sources, cooperation between Moscow and Tehran has intensified since the onset of the full-scale war. This marks the first confirmation that Russia, as one of the key geopolitical opponents of the U.S., is involved in the conflict, albeit indirectly. According to informants, the acquisition of up-to-date data on the location of American military assets by the Iranian side may explain the high accuracy of the attacks carried out by Tehran.
“This looks like quite a complex operation,” one of the interlocutors said.
Since the beginning of hostilities, Iran has used thousands of strike drones and hundreds of missiles to attack American military facilities, diplomatic missions, and civilian infrastructure in the region.
Response from the U.S. and Israel
On Sunday, six American servicemen were killed and several others injured as a result of an Iranian drone strike in Kuwait. In response to the attacks, the U.S. and Israel conducted a large-scale military operation, hitting around two thousand targets within Iran, including ballistic missile bases, naval facilities, and elements of the country’s leadership.
White House Press Secretary Anna Kelly commented on the conflict, noting that the number of Iranian ballistic missile strikes decreases daily, the country’s fleet is suffering significant losses, production capacities are being destroyed, and proxy groups are offering little serious resistance.
The CIA and Pentagon declined to comment on reports regarding possible Russian assistance to Iran. Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth emphasized that Russia and China are “not a factor” in the current conflict.
It is worth noting that the military operation by the U.S. and Israel against Iran began on February 28. In response, Tehran launched strikes against Israel and American military bases in the Persian Gulf. In addition to military targets, civilian objects in various countries in the region have also come under fire.
