No casualties have been reported as a result of the shelling

On December 27, during a combined missile and drone strike by Russian forces on Kyiv, one of the administrative buildings of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was damaged. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties among the employees and visitors of the ministry.
Ministry’s Response and Actions After the Shelling
Deputy Minister of Education Andriy Vitrenko published photographs of the damaged building on social media. He emphasized that emergency services are currently working at the scene, clearing debris and addressing the aftermath of the attack.
“It is important to emphasize that there are no casualties among the ministry’s employees and visitors. Emergency rescue services are currently working at the scene – clearing debris and addressing the consequences of the strike,” he wrote.
The ministry has taken measures to ensure continuous operations despite temporary restrictions on access to the damaged building. All departments of the ministry continue to perform their functions in an adapted mode.
Gratitude to Defenders and Emergency Services
Vitrenko expressed gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Air Forces, the State Emergency Service, the police, and all services that protected the capital’s sky that night and responded promptly to the aftermath of the attack.
