The National Reserve “St. Sophia of Kyiv” is transitioning to a new working schedule due to the festive events being held.

Changed Working Hours of St. Sophia Cathedral in December and January
From December 24, 2025, to January 11, 2026, visitors will be able to access the National Reserve “St. Sophia of Kyiv” only during specified hours. According to the updated schedule, the reserve area, the Bread House, and the Bell Tower will be open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. For viewing St. Sophia Cathedral, the Zaborovsky Gate, the Metropolitan’s House, and the Refectory, the doors will be open from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Box Office Hours and Entrance to the Reserve
The box office and entrance will operate until 2:00 PM, so visitors are advised to plan their visit in advance to have enough time to explore the historical landmarks of the complex.

The updated schedule will allow guests to comfortably familiarize themselves with the cultural heritage of St. Sophia of Kyiv during the winter holidays, taking into account organizational needs and the hosting of specific events on the reserve’s territory.
