Ukrainian Armed Forces Repelled Over 180 Attacks in One Day: Enemy Activity Decreased in Two Directions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated information regarding combat operations on the front over the past day.

Combat Activity in Key Directions

During the day, over 180 combat clashes were recorded along the line of contact. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Novopavlivka directions. Ukrainian forces eliminated approximately 1,010 Russian occupiers, as well as destroyed an enemy tank, 8 armored combat vehicles, 28 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, an air defense system, 77 operational-tactical level drones, a cruise missile, and 85 units of automotive and special equipment, including fuel tankers.

“The enemy launched one missile and 65 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, used one missile and 103 guided bombs. Additionally, they conducted 4,307 shellings, including 100 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 2,419 kamikaze drones,” the General Staff reported.

Situation on Various Sections of the Front

  • In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian forces repelled 19 attacks from Russian troops.
  • The Southern Slobozhansky direction recorded eight combat clashes.
  • In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers made 9 attempts to break through, all of which were successfully repelled.
  • In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 29 times, but Ukrainian defenders held their positions.
  • In the Siversky direction, 5 attempts at an offensive by the aggressor were recorded.
  • In the Kramatorsk direction, defense forces stopped 8 enemy attacks.
  • In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted 13 assaults.
  • In the Pokrovsk direction, our military repelled 49 attacks from the aggressor near 12 populated areas.
  • In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 enemy assaults.
  • In the Dnipro direction, the enemy attempted to break through to the fortifications of Ukrainian forces twice.
  • In the Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions, there were no combat clashes throughout the day.

Thus, in certain sections of the front, the enemy has temporarily reduced its assault activity, focusing efforts on shelling and the use of kamikaze drones, but Ukrainian forces continue to hold the defense and repel attacks along the entire front line.
