Operational Situation on the Front: Over 240 Combat Encounters in One Day

In the past day, 245 combat encounters have been recorded on the front. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivka, and South Slobozhansk directions. Ukrainian defenders inflicted significant losses on the enemy: nearly 1,120 occupiers were eliminated, along with five tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, 13 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, 254 operational-tactical level drones, as well as 70 units of automotive, special equipment, and fuel tankers.
Massive Enemy Strikes and Use of Aviation
“The enemy launched 71 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 161 guided bombs. Additionally, 4,252 kamikaze drones were deployed for strikes, and 4,146 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas were conducted, of which about one hundred were from multiple launch rocket systems,” the General Staff reported.
In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, ten combat encounters were recorded in the past day. The occupiers carried out ten airstrikes, releasing 28 guided bombs, and conducted 140 shellings, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.
The South Slobozhansk direction saw 30 combat encounters, while the enemy launched nine attacks in the Kupiansk area. In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to advance 14 times, and in the Sloviansk direction, they attacked the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces 17 times.
Attacks on Key Front Directions
The Kramatorsk direction was marked by three combat encounters, while in the Kostiantynivka direction, the occupiers carried out 23 attacks. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 72 attacks from the aggressor in the areas of 17 populated localities. In the Oleksandrivka area, the Defense Forces repelled 44 enemy assaults near 11 populated localities.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers attempted to breach the defenses of Ukrainian forces four times, while in the Dnipro direction, the enemy made four unsuccessful assault attempts. No active offensive actions from the enemy were recorded in the Huliaipole direction.
Thus, the situation on the front remains tense; however, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to effectively repel attacks and inflict losses on the occupying troops.
