Intensity of Fighting on Key Directions
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were 19 combat engagements throughout the day, where Ukrainian troops confidently held their defense against Russian military attacks.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian defenders halted four enemy attacks near Vovchansk, Lyman, and Synelnykove. The Kupiansk direction also remained under the control of Ukrainian defenders, who repelled seven attempts by the occupiers to break through.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to advance twice in the area of Novoselivka, but these attempts were unsuccessful. Meanwhile, in the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled ten assaults in the areas of the settlements of Serebryanka, Siversk, Svyato-Pokrovsk, Pazeno, and Dronivka.
The Kramatorsk direction remained under the control of the defenders, who thwarted another enemy attack on Kostiantynivka. In the Kostiantynivka direction itself, Russian troops made 17 attempts to break through.
Enemy Losses and the Situation in the South
The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, where 40 engagements took place in the past day near the settlements of Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Myrnohrad, Nikanorivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Zvirove, Novopavlivka, Molodetske, Dachne, and Filia.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian forces stopped 16 attempts to break through, while in the Huliaipole direction, they repelled 18 attacks near Yablukove, Zatyshshia, Varvarivka, Pryluky, Huliaipole, Malynivka, and Vysoke. In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers attempted to advance three times, while in the Dnipro direction, the aggressor made three attempts to approach the positions of Ukrainian troops near the Antonivskyi Bridge, but none were successful.
“In the past day, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 920 personnel. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized two tanks, eight armored fighting vehicles, 26 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, 496 operational-tactical level drones, and 80 units of automotive equipment belonging to the Russian occupiers.”
