Volodymyr Zelensky’s agenda at the G7 summit includes a series of important bilateral negotiations with international leaders. In particular, meetings are scheduled with French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, President of the European Council António Costa, and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. Situation regarding the planned meeting with the President of the United States

The day before, on June 16, during his stay in Austria, Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he intended to negotiate with U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the possibility of purchasing weapons for Ukraine. However, the meeting did not take place, as Donald Trump left the G7 summit early due to escalating tensions in the Middle East and returned to Washington.

“On June 16 in Austria, Volodymyr Zelensky reported that he had a scheduled meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, during which he wanted to discuss purchasing weapons from the United States. But Trump decided to leave the summit early to return to Washington due to the situation in the Middle East.”
