According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, cloudy weather with occasional clearings will be observed throughout the day. Light snow is forecasted in some areas, and icy conditions are expected on the roads of Kyiv region. Forecasters warn of a northwesterly wind, with speeds reaching 7-12 m/s.

“In Kyiv and the region – cloudy with clearings, light snow. In the region, icy conditions are expected on the roads. The wind will be northwesterly, 7-12 m/s,” forecasters warned.

Temperature Readings and Impact on Urban Infrastructure

The air temperature in the region at night will range from -4 to -9 degrees, while during the day it is expected to be between -2 and -7 degrees Celsius. In Kyiv, the night promises to be particularly cold – the mercury will drop to -6…-8°, and during the day, the temperature will hover around -5°.

Meteorologists emphasize that such weather conditions may create difficulties for the operations of energy, construction, and utility services, as well as complicate traffic movement. As of the morning, the recorded temperature in the capital was -7° with a relative humidity of 85% and atmospheric pressure of 733 mm Hg.
