Discussion of Urgent Solutions for Air Defense
The head of state did not specify which regions were being referred to, but emphasized the need for urgent solutions to improve the effectiveness of intercepting Shahed-type drones. The President reported that he held discussions with the commander of the Air Force and the Minister of Defense regarding measures that should be implemented immediately to strengthen protection against aerial attacks.
“We discussed with the commander of the Air Force and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine what decisions need to be urgently implemented for more effective interception of Shaheds.”
Drone and Missile Attacks: Latest Data
Every morning, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine publishes information about the number of missiles and drones launched by Russian troops across the territory of Ukraine, as well as reports on the consequences of these attacks. According to military sources, on the night of February 6, 22 strike drones were recorded hitting 14 different targets, along with debris from drones falling in two locations. In total, Russian forces launched 328 drones and seven missiles at Ukraine that night.
