The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported significant losses of Russian troops over the past day

During the last day, there were over 180 combat clashes along the front line. The most active combat actions were recorded in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Siversk directions. Ukrainian defenders destroyed about 1020 Russian servicemen, as well as incapacitated five tanks, three armored fighting vehicles, 36 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, 360 operational-tactical level drones, and 108 units of automotive, special equipment, and fuel tankers.
Large-scale airstrikes and drone attacks
“The enemy launched two missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas with two missiles and carried out 74 airstrikes, dropping 118 guided bombs. In addition, they conducted 4685 shellings, of which 73 were from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 6206 kamikaze drones for strikes,” the General Staff reported.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were nine combat clashes. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy conducted five attacks near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, and Lyptsi.
Situation in specific directions of the front
- In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled seven attacks from the occupiers.
- In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to advance 14 times.
- In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 23 enemy attacks.
- In the Kramatorsk area, five combat clashes were recorded.
- In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted 17 assaults.
- In the Pokrovsk direction, the aggressor made 60 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian Armed Forces units from their positions near 20 populated areas.
- In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 enemy attacks.
- In the Hulyaipole direction, defenders stopped two enemy attacks.
- In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
- In the Dnipro direction, Ukrainian military repelled two attacks from the occupiers.
In total, over the last day, Russian forces suffered significant losses in personnel and equipment, while the Ukrainian army continues to hold the defense in key directions of the front.
