Operational Situation at the Front: Enemy Halts Offensive in the Orikhiv Direction

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released operational information regarding the situation at the front.

Over the past day, Ukrainian forces reported nearly 170 combat engagements with the enemy. The most intense fighting was recorded in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Sloviansk directions. According to military sources, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 1,170 occupiers, destroyed one tank, two armored fighting vehicles, 13 artillery systems, one air defense system, 248 tactical-level drones, and 67 units of automotive equipment belonging to Russian troops.

Massive Enemy Strikes and Actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Various Directions

“The enemy launched missile and 62 air strikes, used six missiles, and dropped 144 guided bombs. In addition, they carried out 4,916 shellings, including 134 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 5,525 kamikaze drones for strikes,” the General Staff reported.

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian positions ten times, but all attempts were repelled. The South Slobozhansky direction also remained tense, with the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelling 12 enemy attacks.

The Kupiansk direction recorded 12 combat engagements, while in the Lyman area, the enemy attempted to breach defenses nine times. In the Sloviansk district, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 14 attacks from the Russians, preventing the enemy from advancing.

Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Other Directions

In the Kramatorsk direction, there were two combat engagements, and in the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 14 attacks from the Russian Federation. The situation remained particularly tense in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders halted 58 assault actions by the aggressor near 15 populated areas.

The enemy attempted to breach defenses ten times in the Oleksandrivka direction, while in the Huliaipole area, Ukrainian units repelled five attacks from the enemy. In the Dnipro direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped an enemy attack near the Antonivsky Bridge.

At the same time, no active offensive actions by Russian troops were recorded in the Orikhiv direction. This may indicate a temporary decrease in the intensity of fighting in this sector of the front.
