The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported record enemy losses

Over the past day, there have been more than 200 combat engagements along the front line. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Kursk directions. Ukrainian forces eliminated approximately 1,140 occupiers, destroyed six tanks, three armored fighting vehicles, 47 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, an air defense asset, as well as 138 operational-tactical level drones. In addition, the enemy lost 136 units of automotive and special equipment and fuel tankers.
Total enemy losses since the beginning of the invasion
According to official data, since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the estimated enemy losses in personnel have already exceeded one million.
“The enemy launched 1 missile and 57 air strikes, used 2 missiles and dropped 80 guided aerial bombs, conducted 1,292 kamikaze drone strikes and 4,671 shellings of our troops’ positions,” the General Staff reported.
Operational situation by front directions
- In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled an enemy attack near Okhrimivka.
- In the Kupiansk area, the enemy conducted 11 assault actions.
- In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 20 times.
- In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian warriors repelled three attempts to breach the defense.
- The Kramatorsk direction saw four repelled enemy attacks.
- In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers conducted 20 assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- The situation remained most tense in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy conducted 58 assaults in the areas of 14 populated localities.
- In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defense 31 times.
- In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped three attacks by the invaders.
- In the Orikhiv and Dnipro directions, the enemy conducted one assault on the positions of the Defense Forces each.
- In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 attacks by Russian forces.
Overall, the situation at the front remains tense but under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
