Large-Scale Battles and Losses of Russian Troops
Over the past day, more than 180 combat encounters were recorded on the front, with the highest number occurring in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Novopavlivka directions. Ukrainian forces inflicted substantial losses on the enemy: approximately 810 Russian occupiers were destroyed, along with two tanks, two armored fighting vehicles, 27 artillery systems and multiple rocket launchers, 371 operational-tactical drones, 38 cruise missiles, and 83 units of automotive, special equipment, and fuel tankers.
Attacks in Various Directions and Defensive Actions of the Armed Forces
The enemy launched a powerful missile and aviation strike, using 48 missiles, two missile strikes, and 79 air attacks, including 3 missiles and 161 guided aerial bombs. In total, 4475 shellings were carried out, including 51 from multiple rocket launchers, and 5563 kamikaze drones were employed to strike Ukrainian positions.
“The enemy delivered one massive missile and aviation strike with 48 missiles, two missile strikes, and 79 air strikes, using 3 missiles and dropping 161 guided bombs. In addition, 4475 shellings were carried out, including 51 from multiple rocket launchers, and 5563 kamikaze drones were involved for strikes,” the General Staff reported.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 attacks by Russian troops. In the South-Slobozhansk direction, our forces halted eleven attempts by the enemy to advance. The Kupiansk direction recorded nine attacks from the invaders, while in the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 30 times.
In the Siversk and Kramatorsk directions, Ukrainian warriors repelled seven enemy assaults each. The Toretsk direction became the site of ten enemy attacks. In the Pokrovsk direction, defense forces managed to hold their positions during 50 attacks by the aggressor near 16 populated areas.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attempted to advance 26 times near eight populated areas. In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers made five offensive attempts. No active offensive actions by the enemy were recorded in the Huliaipole and Dnipro directions.
