Ten Apartment Buildings in Kyiv Left Without Gas Due to Russian Attack

On the night of Friday, as a result of yet another Russian attack on Kyiv, gas pipelines supplying a number of apartment buildings in various districts of the capital were damaged. As a result, the gas supply to residential buildings has been temporarily suspended in five administrative districts of the city.

According to the company “Kyivgas”, apartment buildings in the Desnyanskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, Podilskyi, and Solomianskyi districts were affected. For safety reasons, gas supply to these buildings has been temporarily halted until specialists complete the inspection and repair of the damaged networks.

Elimination of Attack Consequences

Emergency crews from “Kyivgas” are working at the damage sites to restore gas supply to residents as quickly as possible. The company urges residents of the affected buildings to remain calm and follow all safety recommendations during the gas outage. In case of detecting the smell of gas or any suspicious situations, residents are asked to immediately contact the emergency service.

“Kyivgas” is addressing the consequences of the Russian attack on the night of Friday. The distribution of gas to ten apartment buildings has been temporarily suspended.
