A meeting of the expert commission of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine took place, during which the winners of the traditional competition for the best athletes and coaches of the month were announced. According to information from the NOC press service, the best athletes of March 2025 are shooter Serhiy Kulish and Greco-Roman wrestler Yehor Yakushenko.

Achievements of Ukrainian Athletes
Serhiy Kulish won the title of European champion in shooting, competing in the 10-meter air rifle event in Osijek (Croatia). Meanwhile, Yehor Yakushenko secured a gold medal at the U23 European Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling, which took place in Tirana, the capital of Albania, in the 97-kilogram weight category.
Freestyle Skiing Team
The freestyle skiing team, which includes Dmytro Kotovskyi, Angelyna Brykina, and Oleksandr Okipniuk, was also recognized for achieving the best results in March. The Ukrainian freestyle skiing team (aerials) won a silver medal at the World Championship in Engadin (Switzerland).
Yehor Yakushenko is a student of coach Mykola Yelarinov and trains at the “Olympiets” sports complex in the Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv. He is also studying at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav.
