, gathered relatives, friends, and concerned Kyiv residents who called for the return of Ukrainian soldiers home.

The Rally and Its Purpose

Participants of the rally lined up along Velyka Zhytomyrska Street, holding placards with messages such as

“Find and bring everyone back”

“Captivity kills”

, and

“As long as their voices are unheard, we shout for them”

. In this way, they aimed to express their support for those who remain in captivity.

The Situation with Prisoner Exchanges

It is worth noting that the last prisoner exchange with the Russian Federation took place on March 19. During this exchange, Ukraine managed to bring back 175 Ukrainian soldiers, including fighters from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, territorial defense, the Navy, and border guards. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian side has been able to return 4,306 soldiers from captivity.
