“After public outcry, the accent window lintel that was previously dismantled at 40/1 Velyka Zhytomyrska was returned to its place along with an element of the original wooden frame and partially preserved glazing”

Plan for Further Actions with the Building

According to Dmytro Perov, it is now important to restore the original window rather than replace it with a modern plastic version. The restoration work must correspond to the historical appearance of the building in order to preserve its unique architectural features and meet the requirements of heritage protection authorities.
