Attorney General Ruslan Kravchenko Denies Rumors of His Resignation

The Attorney General of Ukraine, Ruslan Kravchenko, has categorically denied information regarding his possible resignation. The official emphasized that he continues to fulfill his duties as the head of the Office of the Attorney General and remains in his position.

“I have not submitted and do not intend to submit my resignation. I am where I belong. And I continue to perform the duties of the Attorney General. I know everyone who is currently working against me and the prosecution as an institution; you can stop hiding, I will come for each of you personally.”

Career and Achievements of Ruslan Kravchenko

Ruslan Kravchenko, who is currently 35 years old, was appointed Attorney General on June 21, 2025. He was born in Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region, and graduated from the military law faculty of the National University of “Yaroslav Mudryi Law Academy of Ukraine.”

Before the occupation of Crimea, Kravchenko worked as an investigator in the Sevastopol Prosecutor’s Office and later held other positions within the prosecution structure. He met the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine while serving as the head of the Bucha District Prosecutor’s Office in Kyiv region. Since March 31, 2022, he has been involved in documenting and investigating war crimes in Bucha, which has become one of the most important areas of his work.

Previous Positions in Public Administration

In April 2023, Kravchenko was appointed head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, where he worked until the end of December 2024. Since December 31, 2024, he has headed the State Tax Service of Ukraine, which indicates his significant experience in public administration and law enforcement activities.
