The energy company DTEK has reported that, following a decision by Ukrenergo, emergency power outages began at 09:53 on October 16 in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region, and Odesa region. According to energy specialists, these measures were necessary to stabilize the operation of the energy system.
“By the command of Ukrenergo, emergency outages have been implemented in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region, and Odesa region,” energy specialists noted today, October 16 (as of 09:53), on Telegram.
Situation with Outage Schedules
DTEK emphasizes that during emergency outages, previously established schedules do not apply. Energy specialists explain that such outages are conducted urgently and cannot be predicted in advance. In case of any changes, they promise to provide timely updates for consumers.
