Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held important talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on May 14. During the meeting, they discussed issues related to supporting Ukraine and the active diplomatic efforts this week.

, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.
Andrii Sybiha added that during the negotiations, he informed the Secretary General of the alliance about Russia’s prolonged refusal to cease fire and the continuation of attacks along the entire front line. According to him, cooperation between Ukraine and NATO is aimed at facilitating a meaningful peace process.
Discussion on Support for Ukraine and the Upcoming NATO Summit
Mark Rutte, for his part, emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine:
“Ukraine can count on NATO’s enduring support as it works towards achieving a just and lasting peace”
. In Antalya, Turkey, on May 14, he gathered foreign ministers from NATO member countries for an informal two-week meeting. The main goal of this meeting is to prepare for the Alliance summit scheduled for June 2025 in The Hague.
The meeting took place ahead of an important summit where NATO member countries will discuss further steps to support Ukraine and strengthen cooperation within the alliance.
