A music festival called “Generation” will take place in Kyiv, bringing together fans of Ukrainian pop music that has been popular since the 1990s.

Main Events of the “Generation” Festival

From July 25 to 27, leading performers whose hits became symbols of the era of Ukraine’s renewed independence will take the stage at the National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine” (formerly VDNH). Among the participants are Haytana, the band SKY, and TNMK. The festival program includes not only live performances but also vibrant DJ sets featuring beloved tracks from that time.

A unique event will draw special attention: for the first time in ten years, the duet song “Don’t Go” performed by the band SKY and Haytana will be heard live in Kyiv. This will be a true musical event for fans of Ukrainian pop music.

Charity and Retro Atmosphere

TV presenter Ihor Kondratiuk will also join the festival, presenting his famous program “Karaoke on Maidan” in a charitable format. All funds raised during this event will be directed to support the units that the presenter reports on in social media.

Additionally, all participants of the second “Generation” festival will organize a fundraising campaign for electronic warfare for the Third Assault Brigade. According to the organizers, “Generation” remains the only festival in Ukraine dedicated to the music of the 1990s and 2000s, featuring both domestic and foreign performers.

“Generation” is the only festival in Ukraine dedicated to Ukrainian and foreign music of the 1990s and 2000s, emphasize the organizers. They promise to create a retro atmosphere for visitors, and there will even be opportunities to take photos with a film camera.

The organizers assure that guests will immerse themselves in a true retro atmosphere: the festival area will feature photo zones where everyone can take pictures with a film camera and feel the spirit of the past era.
