On Monday, July 28, a powerful downpour hit the capital, causing numerous floods in various areas of the city. Due to the heavy rainfall, significant puddles formed on many roads, severely complicating traffic and provoking massive jams.
Flooding in the Metro and Transportation Collapse
One of the most affected locations is the Lukyanivska metro station. Water accumulated in the underground passage of this station, creating additional inconveniences for passengers. Many residents report the formation of puddles not only near the metro entrance but also on sidewalks and roadways in different districts of Kyiv.
