Ukrainian para swimmer Ilya Yaremenko won a gold medal at the World Para Swimming Championship held in Singapore, representing the Kyiv City Center for Physical Culture and Sports for the Disabled “Invasport”.

Triumph of Ukrainian Athletes in the Final
Ilya Yaremenko showcased an outstanding performance in the final heat of the 50-meter freestyle in the S12 class, clocking a time of 24.16 seconds. This result is the best in the world among athletes in his class. Alongside Yaremenko, another Ukrainian, Maksym Veraksa, climbed the podium, securing the bronze medal, finishing just 0.15 seconds behind. The silver medal was awarded to Azerbaijan’s Raman Saleh.
