This incident was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко.
“Unpunished evil continues to believe in its impunity. Corrupt officials are not even afraid to accept bribes at their workplace. Once again, the Kyiv City State Administration is involved, and once again – land resources. The same structure that actively participated in the ‘toilet schemes.’ For someone, today will be another ‘sad evening.’ And tomorrow, instead of a swift reaction and dismissals, we will see on social media how the city leader shifts the attention of Kyiv residents to the supply of drones or something else.”
Quick Solutions and Transparency Needed
Timur Tkachенко emphasized that in the current conditions, it is important to implement transparent working mechanisms and increase the accountability of officials. “Economic security is a crucial component of the city’s development, especially during martial law, when every hryvnia matters,” he noted. According to the official, Kyiv must create favorable conditions for business development rather than complicate them, especially when many enterprises are suffering from enemy attacks.
The city leader called for decisive action against corruption and for increasing the level of transparency in the activities of state structures, stressing the importance of combating abuses to ensure the stability and development of the capital.
