The Kyiv Chess Championship among the faculty and teaching staff of higher education institutions took place in Kyiv, with 15 teams participating. The competition lasted two days, during which participants showcased their skills in various formats of the game.

Team Tournament and Individual Competitions
The championship was held in a team tournament format of rapid chess using the Swiss system. Additionally, individual blitz tournaments (3+2) were conducted in five categories: women, vice-rectors, rectors, presidents, doctors of sciences, professors, candidates of sciences, associate professors, as well as university staff.
Victory of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute
The absolute champion was the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute,” which took first place. This was reported on the official Facebook page of the educational institution. The competition was marked by fierce battles, demonstrating the high level of preparation of the participants.
