Parking Situation
According to the initiative’s authors, the pedestrian zone along Boris Hmyri Street, 5 and 5-a is the only way to the metro, yet it is constantly blocked by cars. Local residents note that this complicates access to the station not only for pedestrians but also for people with disabilities and parents with strollers.
“It is impossible to walk along the pedestrian area, and there is also no way for strollers or people with disabilities to pass. Appeals to the police and city authorities yield no results,” local residents complain about the situation.
Call to Action
In this regard, activists are calling on the city authorities to take urgent measures to remove cars from pedestrian zones and prohibit parking in such places to ensure comfort and safety for all citizens.
