Installation and Maintenance of Beach Toilets
According to information published on the electronic procurement portal Prozorro, the enterprise “Pleso” plans to spend over 2.3 million hryvnias on the installation and maintenance of public mobile toilets in recreation areas near the capital’s beaches.
To implement this project, two separate competitions are planned. The first tender concerns the supply of polyethylene bags and garbage bags in rolls with capacities ranging from 35 to 240 liters, totaling 21,000 pieces.
The second competition involves selecting a contractor for the maintenance of 27 portable toilets that are planned to be installed near water bodies. The winning company in this competition will be required to regularly conduct disinfection, sanitary maintenance, perform current repairs, and keep the portable toilets in proper sanitary condition.
“As a result, for all these services, the enterprise “Pleso” is ready to pay the contractor over 2.3 million hryvnias.”
Absence of Beach Season Opening
It is worth noting that for the fourth consecutive year, there will be no official opening of the beach season in Kyiv. This decision is due to the threat of aerial attacks from the Russians, which poses a danger to residents and guests of the capital.
