The municipal enterprise “Kyivpastrans” has announced a large-scale tender for the procurement of spare parts for the Electron trams produced in Lviv, with plans to spend over 9.8 million UAH over the course of the year.

Information about the new tender, which involves the purchase of necessary parts for the maintenance and repair of Electron trams, has appeared on the official electronic procurement portal Prozorro. The procurement is planned a year in advance, which will help maintain the technical condition of the rolling stock and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the city’s public transport.
Details of the Procurement and Supplier Selection Stages
The tender documentation provides for a two-stage auction process. The first stage has already identified a potential supplier — LLC “Zoavod ElectronMash”, which can supply 45 types of parts worth over 4.8 million UAH.
“As a result of the first tender, the supplier of 45 types of parts worth over 4.8 million UAH may be LLC ‘Zoavod ElectronMash’.
The second stage of selection will determine the company that will supply an additional 44 different parts for the trams. The total cost of these spare parts exceeds 4.9 million UAH. Both stages of the tender are aimed at ensuring maximum efficiency and transparency in the expenditure of municipal budget funds.
Thus, the total expenditure on spare parts for the Electron trams will exceed 9.8 million UAH, allowing “Kyivpastrans” to maintain the stable operation of public transport in the capital.
