The Holosiivskyi District Court of Kyiv has sentenced a citizen of Uzbekistan who committed a series of brutal murders in the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions. Over six years, he was responsible for the deaths of thirteen individuals, including both women and men aged between 35 and 81 years.

The arrest of the criminal occurred after the high-profile murder of a flower seller in the Holosiivskyi district in January 2024.
“In committing this murder, the man confessed and began to detail similar crimes. His victims were mostly homeless individuals whom he befriended, consumed alcohol with, and then killed. The bodies of the murdered were found at times when it was extremely difficult to establish the circumstances and causes of death. The accused remembered each victim well and hoped that his detailed accounts would mitigate his sentence.”
Disguised as a buyer, he entered the shop, inflicted over thirty fatal knife wounds on the woman, took her gold jewelry, and fled. According to law enforcement, the man fully admitted his guilt and described his crimes in detail, complicating his situation in court.
