Emergency services are addressing the aftermath of the night drone attack on Kyiv

During the night, Russian forces launched another attack on residential areas of the capital using kamikaze drones. As a result, several civil infrastructure facilities and residential buildings were damaged.

Damage in Various Districts of Kyiv

According to preliminary information, in the Desnyanskyi district, debris from a downed drone damaged the facade of an administrative building, a gas pipe, and an empty tank. The fire that broke out due to the debris was promptly extinguished. No injuries have been reported.

As a result of the drone debris falling in the same area, a car caught fire, which firefighters quickly extinguished. The shockwave damaged the glazing of a non-residential building and several nearby vehicles.

In the Solomianskyi district, debris from a downed drone fell on a car wash, damaging vehicles and a water supply pipe. According to the city administration, there was no fire, and there are currently no reported injuries.

In the Holosiivskyi district, drone debris damaged the windows of an office building. Preliminary information indicates that there were no injuries.

Widespread Hot Water Shutdown

Due to damage to a one-meter diameter heating main, nearly 500 buildings have been left without hot water supply. Among them are residential buildings, schools, medical institutions, and other social facilities.

Emergency services continue to work on-site to quickly eliminate the consequences of the night attack and restore water supply for Kyiv residents.
