Ukrainian MP Oles Dovhyi, a member of the parliamentary group “Volya Narodu,” has announced the end of his political activity and submitted a statement to terminate his parliamentary powers. He made this announcement on June 18, without specifying the reasons for his decision.

In his address, Oles Dovhyi emphasized that he does not intend to run for elections or hold any positions in government bodies or local self-government. At the same time, the politician noted that he will continue to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as social and cultural projects.

Oles Dovhyi’s Political Career
Oles Dovhyi, who is currently 44 years old, was elected as a member of the Ukrainian parliament in 2014 and 2019, serving in the eighth and ninth convocations of the Verkhovna Rada. Previously, from 2006 to 2011, he held the positions of Deputy Mayor of Kyiv and Secretary of the Kyiv City Council.
