Long-term Restrictions for Pedestrians on Park Bridge
This is reported by Kyiv24
From August 21 to December 20, residents of Kyiv and visitors to the city will encounter partial restrictions on pedestrian traffic on the Park Bridge leading to Trukhaniv Island. This is due to extensive repair work that will continue nearly until the end of the year.
Work Plan and Reasons for Restrictions
According to the municipal corporation “Kyivavtodor,” work will be carried out on the Park Bridge over the Dnipro River to replace the bridge deck. These measures require temporary narrowing of the pedestrian passage, which will complicate access to the island for both locals and tourists.
“From August 21 to December 20, pedestrian traffic on the Park Bridge over the Dnipro to Trukhaniv Island will be partially restricted,” the statement reads.
What Kyiv Residents Should Know
The restrictions will last for several months, so residents of the capital and visitors should plan their routes in advance. Road workers recommend taking the changes into account when moving across the bridge and exercising caution in the area where the repair work is being conducted.
