The police have launched an investigation into the origin of the ammunition found with the Kyiv resident

In the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, law enforcement officers seized about 200 rounds of various calibers for firearms, as well as TNT, during a search of a 49-year-old man’s apartment. The operation was carried out by employees of the criminal investigation department of the Darnytskyi district police department, acting on the basis of operational information.
Arrest and Further Actions by the Police
After discovering the arsenal of explosive items, the owner of the apartment was arrested. He has been charged under part one of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for a penalty of three to seven years of imprisonment for illegal handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosive substances.
The Police are Investigating the Circumstances
Currently, law enforcement officers are determining where the man obtained the ammunition and explosives, as well as the purpose for which they were stored in his residence.
“The origin of the ammunition and explosives, as well as the purpose for which the man kept them, is currently being investigated by the police,” the National Police of Ukraine reported.
