Repair work has begun in the Desnyansky district of Kyiv, affecting pedestrian movement.

Starting today and continuing until the end of December, pedestrian movement will be restricted on Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue due to the underground crossing. This is related to restoration work being carried out by specialists from the district’s communal services.
Duration and Features of the Restrictions
According to official information,
“From October 30 to December 31, pedestrian movement will be restricted at the underground crossing on Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue in the Desnyansky district of the capital,” the message states.
The road services of the KP SHEU in the Desnyansky district have already begun work to update the underground pedestrian crossing and its adjacent approaches at the address of Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue, 15. Because of this, residents and guests of the district should take into account changes in their travel routes.
Temporary Organization of Pedestrian Movement
During the repair work, a temporary above-ground pedestrian crossing will be set up nearby for the convenience of citizens. This measure aims to ensure safe and convenient movement for pedestrians while restoration work is ongoing in the underground crossing.
