Major Road Works Begin in Kyiv

Starting today, residents and visitors of the capital should be prepared for temporary inconveniences in traffic: road repairs will commence on two busy streets in the Dnipro and Desnyansky districts of Kyiv.
Temporary Traffic Restrictions on Ostafiy Dashkevych Street
From August 1 to 2, between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, drivers are warned of partial traffic restrictions on Ostafiy Dashkevych Street – on the section from Prince Roman Mstislavych Street to Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street. The road services of KP SHEU Dnipro District will be carrying out repairs on the lower layer of the asphalt pavement, which may affect the speed of traffic in this direction.
“On August 1 and 2, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, traffic will be partially restricted on Ostafiy Dashkevych Street from Prince Roman Mstislavych Street to Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street,” the message states.
Works on Honore de Balzac Street
Additionally, on August 1 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, traffic will be partially restricted on Honore de Balzac Street in the Desnyansky district. Here, road workers will be milling the upper layer of the asphalt pavement, which may also cause traffic jams and complications for motorists.
The city authorities request that routes be planned considering possible delays and encourage choosing alternative paths to avoid congestion in the specified areas.
