Kyiv’s Spartak Stadium was damaged as a result of a nighttime airstrike
This is reported by Kyiv24
On the night of June 10, the capital’s sports complex “Spartak,” located on Kyrylivska Street, sustained damage from debris falling from downed drones used by Russia. The recently renovated facility has once again suffered damage due to yet another act of aggression against the peaceful population of Kyiv.
Official Comment from City Authorities
The incident was reported by Yulia Khan, the director of the Youth and Sports Department of the Kyiv City State Administration. She confirmed that the enemy continues to carry out attacks on civilian infrastructure in the capital and released photographic evidence of the aftermath of the nighttime strike.
“Last night our Spartak Stadium was hit by the aggressors’ strike,” the official wrote, providing photos as evidence of the enemy’s air attack.

Extent of Damage and Consequences
The released photographs clearly show that the spectator stands, running track, and service areas of the stadium were affected by the drone debris. It is particularly unfortunate that renovation and restoration work on this facility was only completed six months ago, and now the sports infrastructure requires restoration once again.

The damage to Spartak Stadium is yet another testament to Russia’s targeted terror against the peaceful population and infrastructure of Kyiv. The city authorities are already working on assessing the damage and planning further actions for the restoration of the sports facility.
