A Criminal Case Has Been Opened Regarding the Disappearance of the Law Enforcement Officer
According to the Kyiv police, a criminal case has been opened regarding the disappearance of Yurii Rybianskyi. He was absent from duty and had not been in contact with his colleagues. Search operations were conducted within the framework of the case under the article on intentional murder marked “missing person.”
“The head of the Darnytsia police department of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv did not report for duty and is not in contact. Employees of the Internal Security Department immediately began searching for the police officer within the framework of the criminal case (intentional murder marked ‘missing person’),” the statement reads.
The Disappearance of Seized Funds and Subsequent Investigative Actions
Yurii Rybianskyi was a person responsible for material assets and had access to seized property. During an inspection, employees of the Internal Security Department discovered the absence of seized funds. In this regard, a separate criminal case was initiated, which is being investigated by the State Bureau of Investigation.
Subsequently, the National Police reported that Yurii Rybianskyi had been found in the Rivne region. Currently, urgent investigative actions are ongoing, and the investigation is being continued by the SBI.
