Expected Participation and Features of the Event
The mission of the event is to bring together the community and museum staff to create a symbolic Garden of Remembrance. Participants, along with the organization “Living Despite Everything,” plan to tidy up the area and plant a large number of trees and shrubs, the organizers report.
“Join us in creating a garden that symbolizes eternal memory and the strength of life. TOLKA is not just work. It is a meeting with those who remember. It is hugs, conversations, gratitude, and warmth. We welcome every hand, every smile, every heart. Come with friends, family, or on your own; we look forward to seeing you!”
In addition to planting plants, the festival organizers promise a fair with delicious food and crafts from folk artisans. This will provide an additional opportunity for visitors to engage in this cultural and ecological event.
