Construction of Protective Structures at the Pyrohiv Museum

Construction of concrete protective shelters will soon begin on the grounds of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine, located in Pyrohiv. The new structures are intended to ensure the safety of museum visitors during air raid alerts. Over 15 million hryvnias have been allocated for the implementation of this project.

Tender Conditions and Shelter Requirements

Information about the tender has already been published on the electronic procurement portal Prozorro. According to the tender conditions, two shelters are planned to be built for 15.6 million hryvnias, each capable of accommodating up to 50 people simultaneously.

Characteristics of Future Shelters

The concrete structures are to be up to 2.5 meters high and equipped with at least two entrances, each at least 0.9 meters wide. Special attention will be given to accessibility and safety for people with limited mobility.

According to the tender documentation, two protective structures are planned to be built for 15.6 million hryvnias, each capable of housing 50 people.

The shelters will be equipped with benches for seating, electric lighting, forced and emergency ventilation systems, as well as a bio-toilet. All construction work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the current year.
