On August 7, the 2025 World Games began in Chengdu, China — a prestigious international tournament for non-Olympic sports that will last for ten days.

Ukrainian Team at the 2025 World Games
The national team of Ukraine includes 108 athletes, among whom 30 represent the capital of Ukraine — Kyiv. The Kyiv delegation consists of both experienced world and European champions as well as talented debutants.
According to the Department of Youth and Sports of the Kyiv City State Administration, among the Kyiv athletes are world champions, European champions, and debutants. The capital’s athletes will compete in the following sports:
