From May 22 to June 19, traffic will be partially restricted on Bohatyrska Street in the capital of Ukraine — Kyiv — due to repair works. This is necessary for the dismantling of the old road surface and the laying of new layers of asphalt, which will improve the quality of the road surface and traffic safety.

According to municipal services, the work will be carried out on the section from the transport interchange at the intersection of Bohatyrska and Polyarna Streets to the intersection with Luhova. As part of the reconstruction, the old road surface will be removed, and new layers of asphalt will be laid in its place. This will reduce road wear and enhance safety for drivers and pedestrians.
During the repair works, traffic will be partially restricted, with entry into the city organized through one lane from the opposite side. Additionally, traffic will be limited at two left-turn exits, which may cause some inconvenience for drivers. To inform about the restrictions in the area, appropriate road signs will be installed with information on possible detours.
How This Will Affect Traffic and What Drivers Should Know
Local authorities urge road users to be attentive and adhere to the temporary restrictions. There are plans for thorough communication with drivers through warning signs to minimize delays and ensure safety during the repair works.
